For anyone who wants their balance to earn every day

Let your balance earn every day, in pesos or in digital dollars

Skipo has two interest-bearing accounts: one in Chilean pesos and one in USDT. Both pay daily returns and are activated from the app, with no fixed term.

Two accounts, two currencies

  • Interest account in pesos

For your CLP balance, with no minimum amount. The rate is variable: the current one is shown on the account page and in the app.

  • Interest account in USDT

Your USDT is deposited in the Aave protocol and earns a variable return of up to 5% a year. The minimum to activate it is 5 USDT.

  • Earnings every day

In the USDT account, earnings are settled in 24-hour cycles and added to your balance, which you can withdraw or swap for other cryptos.

  • No fixed term

Unlike a time deposit, you don't lock your money for 30, 60 or 90 days: your funds stay in your account.

How to activate your interest account

  1. Download the Skipo app and verify your identity.
  2. Deposit pesos from your bank (or buy USDT with your pesos).
  3. In the app, open the interest account in pesos or in USDT and check the current rate.
  4. Activate it with the amount you want. Earnings are added to your balance.

What you should know before activating it

  • Rates are variable: there is no guaranteed return and they can change every day.
  • The USDT account relies on Aave, a decentralized protocol that is not supervised by Skipo or by Chilean regulators, and carries its own smart-contract risks.
  • In the USDT account, Skipo keeps a management fee on the earnings generated, as set out in its Terms and Conditions.
  • If you withdraw funds from the USDT account during a cycle, that cycle's earnings are calculated on the minimum balance you kept.
  • It is not staking: your USDT is lent in a lending protocol, not used to validate a blockchain.
