For developers, businesses and AI users

Connect Skipo to your platform or your AI assistant

Skipo's REST API v2 lets you query markets, get quotes and trade from your own system. And Skipo's MCP server lets Claude or another AI agent query your account in natural language, with read-only permissions.

What you can build

  • REST API v2

Automate quotes, purchases and withdrawals. Reads use API keys, and moving money also requires a JWT signed per request.

  • Read-only MCP server

Connect your account to Claude or another agent to ask about balances, transactions and markets. It only queries: it cannot move money.

  • Signed webhooks

Receive your account's events in your system, with a verifiable signature, instead of polling.

  • Test environment

Production and test share the base URL; the key prefix (skp_live_ or skp_test_) sets where each request runs.

How to get started

  1. Create your Skipo account (and your business account, if you will operate for a company).
  2. Follow the quickstart guide at docs.skipo.com to make your first authenticated request.
  3. Test with an skp_test_ key before moving to production.
  4. To use AI, add Skipo's MCP server as a connector in Claude or another compatible client.

What you should know

  • Keep your API keys like passwords: anyone with a key can read your account's data.
  • The MCP server only makes queries (GET). Trading goes through the API with its per-request signature.
  • The API has per-account and per-key usage limits; see the rate limits section of the documentation.
